Dr Edward Carter is a Team Leader in Protein Science at Vernalis having joined the company in 2017. He completed his PhD at the University of Kent and since then has gained experience across the pharma, biotech and start-up industries at Pfizer, MedImmune and Adaptimmune. During his career, Ed has had the opportunity to help develop novel biologics that have been tested in clinical trials and has contributed to patents on the development of T cell receptors. Ed and his team are focused on the production of high-quality proteins to enable biophysical and structural studies.
